The past week I have been quite busy.
Last monday I had aqua aerobics for the first time.
I enjoyed it a lot, they were playing songs by
Michael Jackson during the lesson, how cool is that?
I met up with a friend and we saw the movie
"The Rebound"
Catherina Zeta Jones is still gorgeous! Look at her!
She has a body to die for hehe.
The movie was ok,
I guess I have seen a lot of romantic movies lately,
so some stories are getting predictable.
Last friday I went to a wedding of my bf's cousin.
It was a long day with lots of food hehe.
Yesterday I went shopping since it was
"National Glamour Day", which means you could get
20% off at selected stores with the dutch Glamour
magazine. I bought a jumper and a top, not a lot I guess.
I am leaving to Hong Kong in a week, the time really
flies! I can't wait!
For those of you who have been reading my blog, you
might know how much I love Jill Stuart.
I decided to take pics of my stash today.
Hold on tight, so here it is!

This tuesday I met up with a friend of mine.
We actually wanted to have dinner at Istana, but it was full, after that
we tried Sumo, which was also full. I couldn't believe it,
it was on a tuesday!
Anyway we had dinner eventually
in a Greek restaurant. It looks quite modern, the food was ok.
After dinner we went to the movie
"Inglourious Basterds"
I liked this movie and it wasnt that bad.
I expected it to be much more bloody, but it was ok.
The movie was actually quite funny.
This week I recieved 2 e-mooks.
One by Jill Stuart and one by Marc by Marc Jacobs.
They both came with a gift, which are both very nice.
Jill Stuart e-mook
Jill Stuart beauty case
Jill Stuart mirror
The Jill Stuart mook came with a pink beauty case
and a mirror. Both in lovely pink Jill Stuart print.
The Marc Jacobs e-mook came with a cute tote bag,
which is very handy.

I love both of the freebies which came with the e-mooks!

Last sunday I went to a jazz festival.
It is called Ijsseljazz. I went to see Room Eleven
and I also got to see Boris to perform.
I was glad to see Room Eleven again, but compared to
Delft Jazz, I liked their performance in Delft better.
I saw Room Eleven 2 years ago at the Delft Jazz festival
and back then they sung the songs better.
This time I barely could recognize the songs, they
changed the songs so much, that it doesn't sound like
the original anymore. I think that's a shame.
I haven't heard Boris album, but he was amazing!
His performance was great, loved all the songs
and I should get his album sometime.
I took a lot of pictures once again, why not right?
I did buy that Sony Cybershot not for nothing,
so I try to use it as much as I can.
During the Ijsseljazz it rained though, which wasn't so
nice, so when everyone opened their umbrellas,
I could barely see a thing. You know how small Asians
are compared to Dutch people hehe.
Here are a few pics which I have taken of Room Eleven

Woah my life seems suddenly so hectic lately!

I barely have a day off to really relax on my own.
Compared 6 months ago, this is a huge difference.
Back then I was home almost every night.
Right now I try to swim and follow dru-yoga every week.
For the rest of the days I have a lot of appointments
with my friends. Since I am going to Hong Kong soon,
I want to meet my friends before that.
Time really flies, I will be in HK within a month.
It feels surreal, because it seemed so far away,
but it's getting closer and closer.
Then I finally can use my new pink suitcase for the
first time. It was my bday present as well, it's
a big suitcase but in the color hot pink hehe.
It will surely be easily recognized, that's for sure!
Last friday me and a few friends went out to
I Love Asian in Hollywood Rotterdam.
I had a great time, drank a lot and we were so
wasted hehe.
I kept laughing all night.
Here are a few pics of the evening.

"I Love Asian" party in Hollywood Rotterdam
Last saturday I finally started following Mandarin
lessons again after like a 10 year break, no kidding!
I think it's quite interesting, I follow it every
saturday for 3 hours. After school I went to the movie
"G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra"
I thought the movie was a lot better than Transformers 2.
However there were some scenes in it which are not for
the weak stomache (aka me!).
I like Lee Byung Hun in the movie, he is amazing!

Today was the last day of my training.
The 3 weeks of training went by so quickly!
Tomorrow I will start with the real deal! Wish me luck!
Hopefully I will get it right, if not I have always
a few coaches which I can turn to, but of course it's
the best if I can do everything on my own.
Last week I followed a dru-yoga lesson for the first time.
I enjoyed it and will be doing this more often.
I never knew it would be so calming and peaceful.
At a certain point I think I was away for a while!
I think I fell asleep, but I am not sure.
This monday I finally went swimming with a friend.
I enjoyed it and might do this weekly.
Yup I want to start 'sporting', I have been so lazy
for the past few years. Ok sometimes I did Windsor Pilates,
but never did it for long, but maybe it was cuz of the
fact I did it at home.
So from now on I will follow
dru-yoga lessons and go swimming weekly.
Yup my new job is a lazy-a$$ job, which means I won't be
leaving my seat often during the day.
I am not doing it to slim down, but it's good to sport right?
Lately I got a few new Marc Jacobs items. He is great!
First of all I got a new wallet
Marc Jacobs Gunmetal Mirror Heart Long Wallet
This wallet is actually a gift which I got for my birthday.
It is super handy I think, it is pretty big and roomy.
I also love the color, which is gunmetal.
Of course the shopaholic in me liked the billfold wallet and
coin purse as well, so I bought these two to match my wallet.
Marc Jacobs Gunmetal Mirror Heart Billfold Wallet
The billfold wallet I use to keep my CC's, yup since
it is pretty small it could not fit a lot of cards.
So that's the reason I also bought a coin wallet.
Marc Jacobs Gunmetal Mirror Heart Coin Purse Wallet
The coin purse wallet has more room than the billfold wallet,
so I put a lot of cards in it, together with some coins hehe...
What else did I bought from Marc Jacobs?
Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume set
It comes with a 50ml eau de toilette,
a body lotion and shower gel.
I like the Daisy perfume a lot, but it's a pity
that the scent doesn't last very long.
What I also bought is a Daisy solid perfume necklace,
it is pretty cute!
It also comes with a small golden pouch.

At last but not least, I also got a Marc Jacobs
Daisy tote bag!

Ok that's it, no more MJ for the rest of this year hehe!

Last friday I went to a concert in Paradiso.
It was a concert from Laura Jansen.
Gosh she is so amazing!!!
I stood up front
and took a lot of pictures hehe.
After the concert she signed her new album
"Bells" for her fans, how cool is that?
Of course I bought a copy and let her sign it.
A while back I bought her "Single Girls" single
and posted a pic on twitter which she retweeted.
When she was signing the album I mentioned it
and she did remember me awww!!
Here are a few pics I took of the concert.

My signed copy of Laura Jansen "Bells" album
I took a lot more concert pics, you can view them here:

Today I went to the Cafe Paard van Troje.
John C. Fraser was filming his video and
I participated in it!
I am very curious to see
his video! It was a lot of fun and I wonder how
much you get to see me in the video haha!

Oops I have been lacking updates lately hehe!

The past few weeks has been quite busy for me.
Last week I started my new job at TNT Express.
First I have 3 weeks training, so I get a lot
of information. I got to know a few of the new
collagues and they all are very nice and they also
love to laugh a lot like me, which is a good sign right?
But I am glad it's weekend, last week was actually my
birthday! Yup time really flies. I was glad to see
my friends again which I invited for my b'day.
Here are some pics of me and my friends.
Warning long picture post!

Cupcakes and lots of yummy food!

Me and my dear friends!
I had a blast, thank you all for coming!

I had an interview last thursday and I have a new job!

I am so happy!
I never knew that I could find a new
job so soon, but I am very happy that I did and of
course I am very excited!
I will start next monday!
Further last friday me and my bf had our 5 year
anniversary. We went shopping and eating out.
Last weekend I finally decided to buy the Wii.
I wanted to buy it for a while now and I bought it.
Nintendo Wii
Right now I don't have a lot of games yet, I have only bought
Mario Party 8
Still looking for other Wii games which I'm planning
to get. On my list are the following games:
Mario Kart
Cooking Mama
Bomberman Land
I know all those kiddie games, but I like them.

Last week I spent a few days in Dordrecht with
one of my best friends. It was my first time to explore
the city. However I haven't seen it all of course.
We decided to go up the tower of the Big Church.
I had made a lot of pics, the view was very nice.
During our visit a couple were having their wedding
ceremony, which was quite special, but of course
I did not took pics of them. They married on 07/08/09.
I think a lot couples married on that day.
Anyway here are a few pictures of the view of Dordrecht
which I took on the top of the church.
I also took pics inside the church

The outer view of the church

The days I spent with my friend and her family were
so nice. They are all so friendly, really a warm family.
We played the Wii, I love Mario Party!
I might consider
buy a Wii as well, but not sure when hehe.
We went shopping in Dordrecht which was nice,
I bought a few items hehe.
By the way the weather
was so hot last week!
I'm glad it cooled down a bit
this week. It is actually raining today, but the plants
and trees need some water as well.
Meanwhile I am redecorating my room. I bought a new closet
today and hope to get a new closet at the end of this month.

Last friday it was my last workday at Priva.
It felt so surreal, I did not felt like it was
my last day at all, but of course it was.
I decided to bake a few cupcakes for a small group
of collagues for my last day. I have worked at Priva
since last year december, so quite some time.
We usually eat a lot of birthday cakes of Multivlaai,
so I decided not to buy another cake, since we have
had that so many times, it won't be anything special right?
I am a fan of Sex And The City and I have seen them eating
cupcakes of the Magnolia Bakery for a few times.
It's weird that it's not available in Holland.
I always see muffins and brownies, but no cupcakes.
I wanted to bake cupcakes for a while now and this seemed like
the perfect timing to do so.
It did cost me a lot of effort if I have to be honest.
I decided to make buttercream to use as icing on the cupcakes.
I bought a Wilton pastel icing colorkit and decided to
give the buttercream a nice color. I mixed the icing color
my self and it turned out to be the following colors:
Mintgreen
Babyblue
Pink
Peachy pink
Aren't they cute?
This was my first time baking cupcakes,
so I was very happy with the results!
Plus the cake was yummy and the buttercream too!
It was not very sweet at all, so I was very glad for that!
I will be baking cupcakes soon again when it's my birthday!
